Terms and Conditions

All clients of ePay Services Jamaica are subject to the terms of our Services. The spending limit of our clients is restricted to the amount that they have loaded to their account.

  The ePassporte Terms and Conditions Agreement describes the terms and conditions governing the purchase and use of each of the ePassporte, N.V. products and services.  Before purchasing, accepting or using any of the ePassporte Products or Services, You will be required to agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained in that Agreement, and as it may be amended from time to time. 

 

ePay Services Jamaica (hereinafter “ePay Services Jamaica”) is an ePassporte Business Account Holder.  ePassporte neither accepts or assumes any liability for any agreement(s) You may make with ePay Services Jamaica or any funds which You provide to ePay Services Jamaica for the purchase or loading of ePassporte products or services.  If You are eligible to purchase and use the ePassporte products and services, ePay Services Jamaica will be solely and completely responsible for crediting / loading those funds onto Your ePassporte Account, less any applicable fees.  ePay Services Jamaica will credit / load these funds on to Your ePassporte Account on a schedule to be solely determined by ePay Services Jamaica.

 

  ePassporte neither accepts nor assumes any liability for errors made by ePay Services Jamaica.  Should You advise ePassporte in writing that there has been an error in the amount deposited / loaded to Your account within sixty (60) days after the transaction date and provide ePassporte with a copy of the transaction details, including a printed receipt which You received from ePay Services Jamaica at the time You made the purchase and/or deposit transaction, ePassporte will research the problem with ePay Services Jamaica and attempt to resolve the problem with them. If You do not have a deposit receipt or do not contact ePassporte in writing within sixty (60) days of the transaction date, ePassporte will be unable to help You and You will have to resolve the issue solely with ePay Services Jamaica.

 

  Acceptance of You as an ePassporte customer will be at ePassporte’s sole and absolute discretion.  If You are accepted as an ePassporte customer, You will be provided access to the ePassporte website by using a username and password.  Should You not be accepted as a customer by ePassporte ePay Services Jamaica will be solely responsible for returning the funds that You have provided to them.  ePassporte accepts no responsibility for returning Your deposited funds nor to assist You in any way in resolving this issue.

 

 

REFUND POLICY

 

ePay Services Jamaica will provide refunds of customer funds or moneys deposited to our accounts upon the following terms and in the stated proportions:

 

          i.            A full refund of fees paid by customer will be paid by ePay Services Jamaica given that the customer application is not accepted by our providers, ePassporte.

         ii.            A full refund of fees paid by customer will be paid to the customer, given that the customer follows the payment procedure, if ePay Services Jamaica fails to provide the customer with a Virtual Card Account within three (3) business days and the customer submits a refund claim within a fifteen (15) day period.  Thereafter, a 2% service charge will be applicable.

        iii.            A Service Charge is applicable to refund requests made on top up or load amounts, deposited by customers, as follows:

                                  i.            6% of deposits, if refund request is submitted by the customer within fifteen (15) days from the date of payment.

                                 ii.            15% of deposits, if refund request is submitted by the customer within thirty (30) days from the date of payment.

                                iii.            35% of deposits, if refund request is submitted by the customer within thirty (31) to sixty (60) days from the date of payment.

       iv.            Refund requests submitted after sixty (60) days from the date of payment, for top up or load amounts deposited by customers, will NOT be honored by ePay Services Jamaica.

        v.            Fees and or Moneys paid will not be refundable to customer after a Virtual Card Account has been issued to the customer or after the customer has utilized services for which payments were due, unless the Visa Virtual Account issued fails to work as stipulated by ePay Services Jamaica.  In such instances, ePay Services Jamaica will reissue a new account to the customer at no additional cost.

       vi.            Customers requiring refunds on the stated terms, will be required to provide ePay Services Jamaica with a signed “refund claim letter”, which should provide their customer id as well as the bank and bank accounts to which the refund should be paid.

      vii.            Refund claims that are honored by ePay Services Jamaica, will be paid over to the customer within three (3) business days of receipt of a signed “request for refund” letter.

     viii.            No Refunds will be payable (on service fees) if:

                                  i.            The customer simply changes his/her mind:

                                 ii.            The customer negligently or intentionally misuses the product/service.

                                iii.            The customer is made aware of any limitations of the product/service prior to making their purchase.

 

 

HANDLING OF FUNDS DEPOSITED FOR LOADING

 

ePay Services Jamaica will handle customer funds deposited to our accounts for loading as follows:

 

          i.            If customer confirms the deposit made after fourteen days (14) of payment, customer’s account will be loaded with funds deposited less 6% of deposit.

         ii.            If customer confirms the deposit made after twenty one (21) days of payment, customer’s account will be loaded with funds deposited less 15% of deposit.

        iii.            If customer confirms the deposit made after thirty (30) days of payment, customer’s account will be loaded with funds deposited less 35% of deposit.

       iv.            If customer fails to confirm the deposit made after twelve (12) months or one (1) year of payment, funds deposited will neither be refundable to the customer or loadable to the customer’s account.

 

 

ePay Services Jamaica reserves the right to terminate a customer’s account if it is discovered that the account is being used to conduct fraudulent or illegal transactions.
